NOTICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS
For all orders placed before December 1, 2008, we will try our best to complete the order no later than November 30, 2008 in order to save you additional expense and bring you more profits.
Previously, prices for abrasive minerals from China have fluctuated due to a number of factors including changes in export policies to meet growing demands by domestic markets. Domestic suppliers do not have enough stock to satisfy all of their customers. Other forces that push costs upward are increased attention to environmental protection, the rising costs of raw materials, growing energy costs, and the changing exchange rate of the Yuan compared with the US dollar. In July 2007, the Renminbi or Yuan reached record highs. In October 2007, the price of raw mateials and BFA from sources within the aluminum industry have increased to 250-350 RMB ($33.5- $47) per MT. Prices for SiC are now near 100 RMB. These changes unfortunately mean our customers must pay higher prices. We'll share added costs with our customer when possible but will need to be re-evaluate prices on a monthly basis. We will do our part to share the additional costs but ask for customer understanding.
